MJIIT - UTM to Accept Students in Second Year of Electrical and Systems Engg.
The Dean, SECS, Prof. S. Khan visited Malaysia Japan International
Instt. of Technology (University Technologi Malaysia meeting his
counterpart, the Dean of MJIIT Prof Datin Yousuf. The meeting was also
attended by two deputy deans, the Head of ESE, and Dr. Muzahidul
Islam.
Under a working understanding, it was decided that MJIIT-UTM will
accept into their second year of Electronic Systems Engg, (ESE)
transfer students from IUB, who have completed a year and 43 credits
at IUB. Applicants willing to transfer to the ESE at MJIIT must
fulfill the entry requirements of:
(A) in Physics and Math, Grade A in HSC, OR Grade C in A levels
(B) 500 in TOEFL OR 5.5 in IELTS
(C) at least grade B in relevant courses to be transferred to MJIIT-UTM
Discussions will continue on a more detailed 1+3 Program between IUB
and MJIIT-UTM. The Dean, SECS was honored with a crest presented by
his counterpart Dean Datin Yusuf. Located in Kuala Lumpur, University
Technologi Malaysia is a government run and subsidized university and
tuition is close to that at IUB.
