SESM Workshop and cleaning activities in Balu River

The School of Environmental Science and Management (SESM) at IUB organized a Workshop titled, Know your river, revive it better. Mountaineer M.A. Mohit who conquered Mount Everest, alongside the journalist and columnist, Irin Sultana shared their experiences and explained significant aspects pertaining to concerned matters. The Workshop was followed by a cleaning activity in Balu River. Students from Environmental Toxicology and Water Quality Environment courses including River Conservation Club (RCC) took part in this activity.
Dr. Abdul Khaleque, Dean, SESM delivered the welcome speech while Dr. Ayaz Rabbani, Head, Environmental Science gave vote of thanks. Dr. Md. Hafizur Rahman, Assistant Professor moderated the Workshop and guided all students during the cleaning activity.
