IUB team visits Bogra schools & colleges

As part of the initiative of the Undergraduate Admissions & Financial Aid office to enhance relationship with different district level schools/colleges of Bangladesh a five-member team headed by Ms. Lima Choudhury, Deputy Director has visited Bogura district from 18 – 19 June 2018.
The team has visited Matidali Uchcha Madamik biddalaya and Manik chak Uchcha madamik biddalya and gave presentation among 200 students of class X. This presentation covered the higher education opportunities at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), Lab and Library facilities, different scholarships and financial aid facilities and the special features like Saima Hall, LFE and club activities. They also had extensive meetings with the principals and Chairmen of these schools and a brief meeting was also arranged with the Secondary Education Officer of Bogura Sadar to explore the opportunities of communicating with other leading schools of that district. They felt honored by IUB’s initiative and was happy to know that almost 200 students from Bogura is currently studying at IUB.
The team members of IUB were: Ms. Lima Choudhury, Mr. Tanvir Ahmed Haroon, Lecturer School of Environmental Science & Management, Mr. Saquib Ahmad Khan, Lecturer School of Environmental Science & Management, Ms. Shahanaz Parul, Admission Officer and Mr. Nahian Muhtasim Obak, Student of School of Environmental Science & Management.
