World Water Day 2018 observed at IUB

IUB Environment Club organized an art competition on the occasion of “World Water Day 2018” at the university campus in Bashundhara R/A, Dhaka on March 21, 2018. Dr. Abdul Khaleque, Dean, School of Environmental Science and Management at IUB inaugurated the event. A total of 150 students from HURDCO International School, Ebenezer, Prottoy and Viquarunessa Noon School and College, Bashundhara Branch participated in the event. The art competition executed based on the themes related to water pollution, water life, nature & water that followed by a daylong exhibition of the paintings of the participants.
Prof. Milan Pagon, Pro-Vice Chancellor, IUB distributed prizes among the winners as the Chief Guest. In Category-1, the first, second and third prize winners were from HURDCO International School, Ebenezer School and HURDCO International School respectively. In Category-2, all first, second and third winners came out from Viquarunessa Noon School and College.
