EEE Day 2018 observed at IUB

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) observed ‘EEE Day 2018’ on March 22, 2018 at the university campus in Bashundhara R/A, Dhaka. The daylong program started with a colorful rally followed by multiple technical talk sessions, technical quiz competition, circuit debugging, MATLAB coding challenge, project showcase, robo race, line-following robot competition, games events and a cultural show.
Prof. Milan Pagon, Pro-Vice Chancellor of IUB, inaugurated the program as Chief Guest. Dr. M. Abdur Razzak, Head of EEE Department welcomed the audience. Prof. Mohammed Anwer, Dean, School of Engineering and Computer Science, IUB and Dr. Mustafa Habib Chowdhury, Counselor of IEEE IUB Student Branch also spoke on the occasion. After inauguration, three technical sessions were conducted by Prof. Mohammad Kaykobad from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), Mr. Zakaria Haider from Grameenphone and Mr. Hannes Kirchhoff, the CTO of ME SOLshare Ltd. Later, Dr. M. Abdur Razzak distributed prizes among the winners of different competitions. More than 270 students and faculty members from EEE Department participated in this daylong event.
