CGP’s event on 'Disruption in Today’s Business'

The Office of Career Guidance and Placement (CGP) at the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) organized a Talk entitled “Disruption in Today’s Business” on March 18, 2018 at IUB campus in Bashundhara, Dhaka. Mr. Quazi Mohammad Shahed, Chief Human Resources Officer of Gramenphone was the Resource Person of the program.
In his deliberation, Mr. Shahed said that, business is changing faster than ever before and disruption is storming every single industry at present. He mentioned about five disruptive forces namely digitalization, artificial intelligence, big data, e-money and things on net. He also highlighted digitalization impacts influenced the telecom sector in particular.
The program started with welcome address given by Prof. Milan Pagon, Pro Vice Chancellor, IUB. Mr. Md. Abdullah Iqbal, Deputy Director, Career Guidance and Placement, IUB delivered vote of thanks.
The presentation was followed by a lively question-answer session participated by IUB students joined from various departments and disciplines. Senior members from faculty and management and full-house students attended the event.
